Google has removed live price charts for Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies from its search results.

Users find that queries like 'Bitcoin price' or 'Ethereum price' no longer display this chart which has been available since 2018.

This change has been in effect for a few days, but it's unclear whether it's a temporary bug or a permanent decision.

So far, Google has not issued an official statement explaining the removal of the chart. Some argue that it is an experiment conducted by Google's algorithm before the upcoming US election.

Although cryptocurrency price graphs are no longer shown, stock and index graphs remain visible in search results.

Previously, Google offered charts showing current rates for most popular cryptocurrencies so users could check prices at any time.

However, crypto price charts can still be checked on Google Finance.

Cryptocurrency users are now waiting to see if Google will bring back the price chart so that it becomes the norm of information for internet users.

For now, users have to use other social media apps to get updates on cryptocurrency prices.
