Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei recently responded to Israeli airstrikes on Iranian military sites, advising Iranian military forces to be cautious in the face of Israeli attacks, while pointing out that Iran remains strong and capable of retaliating.

The attack, which targeted locations in Ilam, Khuzestan, and near Tehran, left four Iranian soldiers dead and limited damage reported.

Khamenei insisted that while Iran should not exaggerate the impact of the attack, it should also not underestimate the challenge posed by Israel, signaling the need to be vigilant against what he described as "miscalculations" by the illegal state of Israel.

Before the attack was launched, Khamenei had ordered Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) to prepare military plans for possible retaliation.

According to IRGC officials, if an Israeli attack inflicts severe damage, Iran is ready to launch up to 1,000 ballistic missiles at critical Israeli sites, including oil and nuclear infrastructure.

If the attack is limited, the response may be more controlled. Iran has strengthened air defenses around military and nuclear sites, remaining on high alert as it plans its next move.

Iran's leadership conveyed a firm stance that any escalation of tensions would be met with decisive action to assert Iran's strength and resilience.
