Petronas, Malaysia's national oil company, is considering selling part of its stake in energy firm Gentari Sdn Bhd.
The stake in the company could be worth between $300 million and $500 million, although this figure is still under discussion.
Petronas is also working closely with their advisors on their plans with several infrastructure funds and industry partners having shown interest.
Gentari is focused on expanding its renewable energy capacity and has set goals for 2030, including achieving 30 to 40 gigawatts of renewable energy capacity, growing hydrogen projects and supporting the use of electric vehicles.
However, Petronas has not yet finalized the decision to sell or retain the firm's holdings.
