Big fortune awaits Kedah civil servants!

Kedah civil servants will enjoy double fortune next year after the Kedah Menteri Besar, Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor, announced a bonus of RM2,000 as a token of appreciation for their dedication to the state.

This bonus will be given to 5,076 employees in two payments, namely in March and June 2025.

During the presentation of the Kedah Budget 2025 at Wisma Darul Aman, Sanusi announced that the state government has allocated RM12 million to implement this initiative.

In addition, the Kedah government has also provided an additional allocation of RM30 million to cover salary increases under the new Civil Service Remuneration System (SSPA) which came into effect on December 1.

This improvement is the first since 2013, expected to provide a salary increase of up to 15% for most civil servants.

Sanusi explained that this bonus is an appreciation for civil servants who have always served excellently for the development of the state.

Like several other states that have announced bonuses before, the Kedah government is also committed to looking after the welfare of civil servants.
