America Contributes RM442,817 to Aid Flood Victims in Malaysia

The United States (US) government, through the US Agency for International Development (USAID), has contributed RM442,817 ($100,000) to aid flood victims in Malaysia.


The funds were channeled through the Malaysian Red Crescent Society to help provide essential supplies and essential services such as health to the affected communities.


According to Bernama, the US embassy in Kuala Lumpur has issued a statement expressing solidarity with those affected by the devastating floods in Malaysia and reaffirming its commitment to working with the Malaysian government in efforts to help communities recover and rebuild.


In addition, a video shared by the US Embassy in Kuala Lumpur along with the announcement showcases the efforts of the Malaysian Red Crescent Society in Kelantan to deliver aid to flood victims.


USAID also expressed its deep appreciation to the front lines who are working tirelessly to protect those affected by this devastating disaster.
