Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim recently declared 2024 as a historic year for Malaysia, with extraordinary achievements in international relations.
In a Facebook post, he announced that Malaysia has successfully secured high investments worth RM115.2 billion and strengthened its position as a respected global partner, championing justice and balance in the world.
Throughout 2024, Anwar has made official visits to 15 countries and received 35 international delegation visits.
The largest investments came from Germany (RM46 billion), South Korea (RM32.8 billion), and Australia (RM24.5 billion), opening up new opportunities and avenues for Malaysia to lead ASEAN towards a more inclusive and sustainable future in 2025.
With strong international support, Malaysia steps into the new year with full confidence to drive shared prosperity.
