Wall Street in the United States (US) was slightly lower on Thursday morning due to the holiday season.

On Tuesday, the Dow Jones, Nasdaq Composite and S&P 500 managed to record positive momentum.

The move was supported by gains in large technology companies and growth stocks.

The best-performing Magnificent 7 stock was Tesla, which jumped 7.4%, leading other large technology stocks.

Shares of companies that are expected to record growth in their earnings also showed strength despite the rise in Treasury yields.

The 10-year US Treasury yield rose to about 4.61%, its highest since May.

Although Wall Street reached its highest level following the November election, as investors hoped for policies that would give businesses an advantage to grow more than Trump.

Now, investors are becoming cautious as they expect these higher interest rates may occur in 2025.
