Fraser & Neave Holdings Bhd (F&N) is investing in Malaysia and Cambodia to strengthen its position, targeting steady growth.
Chief Executive Officer Lim Yew Hoe shared that the company is expanding its operations in Malaysia and Cambodia to meet rising demand and improve efficiency.
In Malaysia, F&N is launching several projects to increase production including new equipment for carbonated beverages and drinking water in Butterworth, sterilized milk packaging equipment in Pulau Indah, and chocolate production machines in Rawang.
This is to expand their product offering and streamline processes.
Meanwhile, in Cambodia, construction of a dairy plant is underway that will enable F&N to meet the growing demand for dairy products in the Indochina region, open up new revenue streams and diversify its business.
The company is also tackling rising costs and taxes by adopting automation and digital solutions under the “Future Now” program.
The initiative is designed to improve efficiency and agility.
F&N's revenue increased 4.9% to RM5.25 billion in FY24, driven by strong domestic sales and exports, with the company's operating profit also reportedly increasing.
