Kerjaya Prospek Group Bhd has opened the new year by successfully securing a contract worth RM256.4 million to build 360 units of three-storey terrace houses in Elmina West, Shah Alam.
The project was awarded by Eastern & Oriental Express Sdn Bhd (E&OE), an indirect subsidiary of Eastern & Oriental Bhd (E&O), on Monday.
Interestingly, several of Kerjaya’s directors and major shareholders also have interests in E&O, creating synergies that strengthen the relationship between the two companies.
According to Kerjaya’s Chief Executive Officer, Tee Eng Tiong, the contract strengthens the company’s position in the construction sector while enhancing future growth prospects.
He said the opportunity will enable the company to increase revenue for the next three years, thus demonstrating Kerjaya’s commitment to delivering the best value to shareholders.
Construction is scheduled to commence on 20 January 2025 with a completion period of 26 months, marking the continuation of Kerjaya’s growth momentum into the next financial year.
