SME Bank has stepped up assistance for flood victims in Kedah and Kelantan, marking its second mission to help those affected.
The initiative includes distributing food baskets, essential supplies and financial assistance to families and schools affected by the disaster.
More than 4,500 people in both states have benefited from the bank's efforts.
In Kedah, the bank collaborated with the State Welfare Department to deliver food and basic necessities to 400 families in Kubang Pasu.
This assistance has benefited more than 3,500 people in the district, offering immediate assistance to those affected.
Meanwhile, in Kelantan, the bank provided assistance to two schools, namely Sekolah Kebangsaan Teluk Jering and Sekolah Kebangsaan Bendang Pa'Yong to help schools resume normal operations.
The donation has also benefited 1,000 students.
The bank's SME President and CEO stressed that their efforts are in line with the government's call for organizations to support and assist the community during these challenging times.
