WEDNESDAY (12 February 2025)
US Consumer Inflation Data (9.30 PM) – After focusing on last week's jobs report, the market will turn to US inflation data this week for further guidance. The consumer price index reading for January is forecast to remain at 2.9% after an earlier increase.
THURSDAY (13 February 2025)
UK GDP Data (3.00 PM) – The UK's monthly economic growth for December 2024 is expected to increase by 0.1%, similar to the November reading, which is better than the contraction in the previous few months.
US Producer Inflation Data (9.30 PM) – The US producer price index (PPI) reading for January is expected to record the same figure as the previous month at 0.2% while the core data reading is forecast to increase by 0.3% compared to the previous zero figure.
FRIDAY (February 14, 2025)
US Retail Sales Data (9.30 PM) – Markets are forecasting a slower pace of sales in the US in January following the decline shown in December's reading. The core reading is also expected to fall slightly below previous readings.
