Mydin is targeting to achieve RM3.2 billion in sales revenue this year following the success of recording an increase in sales last year (RM3.03 billion) compared to 2023 (RM3 billion).
Government initiatives such as the Madani Family Mercy Sale have played a role in increasing sales.
In addition, the promotion of locally made products including food and clothing, has further contributed to the company's success.
To keep up with current shopping trends, Mydin is improving customer convenience through various digital platforms including Mydin Online, Mydin Pay, Mydin Rewards, and even TikTok, making it easier for shoppers to access their products.
Despite increasing competition from new supermarket chains, Mydin has remained a strong player in the halal retail sector for almost 68 years.
The company is also expanding, with plans to open new supermarkets in Kulim, Dungun, and Pasir Mas this year.
