US President Donald Trump yesterday issued a stern threat to Hamas, namely to release all Israeli hostages by noon on Saturday, or the ceasefire will be nullified and all hell will break loose.
He warned that the hostages cannot be released ‘in pieces’ and urged simultaneous releases or be prepared for the consequences.
Trump also threatened to withhold US aid to Jordan and Egypt if they reject his proposal to relocate Palestinian refugees to those countries.
When asked about further action if Hamas refused to comply, Trump insisted that retaliation would be given and Hamas would feel the consequences.
This statement came after Hamas postponed the release of hostages over allegations that Israel violated the terms of the ceasefire.
Israel is currently preparing its military for retaliation against Hamas while protests erupted in Tel Aviv demanding the immediate return of the hostages.
With the ceasefire on the brink of collapse, Israel is ready to act, protests in Tel Aviv are escalating, and Trump’s threats are only adding fuel to the fire of the Gaza conflict.
