US President Donald Trump in his statement on Sunday believed that the United States is making a solution in discussing steps to end the war between Russia and Ukraine.
However, he refused to provide details of any conversations that have taken place with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The two leaders of the giant countries have been in official contact for the US for the first time since early 2022, which was between Joe Biden and Putin.
Donald Trump also mentioned that he had begun discussing a solution to end the war before being elected president again on January 20.
However, he did not want to share the full details of the discussions and said that the process of ending the war is still in progress.
Trump has promised to end the war but has not publicly stated how he will do it.
According to Russian Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, a different topic has emerged.
US National Security Advisor Mike Waltz also refused to comment further when asked about the communication between the two countries.
