Donald Trump has once again caused a stir by proposing to give 20% of DOGE “savings” to Americans in the form of cash payments, while the other 20% is said to be used to reduce the national debt.
The proposal is said to have come directly from Elon Musk, potentially channeling cash directly into the pockets of the people as a ‘national dividend’ or Trump’s version of tax refunds.
At an event in Miami Beach that was also attended by Musk and top White House officials, Trump claimed that the billions in savings should be returned to the people.
But, can you believe it?
Until now, the DOGE savings claim is still full of questions.
Musk’s agency once claimed to have recovered $8 billion, but further investigation found that the actual figure was only $8 million.
In fact, Trump himself is still wondering where the remaining 60% of the DOGE “savings” went.
So, is this real financial aid or just an empty promise to attract attention?
