Trump signed a presidential memorandum to reimpose strict sanctions on Iran's oil industry, accusing the Biden administration of failing to act decisively against Tehran's nuclear weapons program.
Tensions in the Middle East have peaked again, but Iran is still strong and managed to earn $53 billion from oil exports in 2023.
