Tech giants Google and Apple are under intense pressure from the European Union (EU) over new digital regulations.
The EU has warned Google that it must comply with the Digital Markets Act (DMA) or face fines.
The tech giant is accused of giving its own services an unfair advantage in search results and blocking app developers from directing users to better deals outside of the Playstore.
At the same time, Apple has been told to allow third-party app stores that allow for more competition and not rely solely on the Apple Store.
Apple has resisted the move, arguing that the changes could compromise user security.
