Transport Minister, Anthony Loke, announced a four-day ban on heavy vehicles in conjunction with Hari Raya Aidilfitri to reduce congestion and the risk of accidents.

This ban will come into effect from 29 to 30 March and 4 to 5 April.

Not only that, the Ministry of Transport together with JPJ will launch a Hari Raya Special Ops from 24 March to 8 April to track traffic offenders on their way home and back during Hari Raya.

So if you have the intention of ‘snapping’ your way back to your hometown, think twice!

Most painfully, the lorry companies involved in accidents will now be audited.

Failed to comply with SOP?

Operations can be suspended! So, there is no more excuse for bad brakes or flat tires.

In addition, body cameras for enforcement are also expected to be introduced this year.

With video evidence, there will be no more ‘tearful drama’ when being sued!

Obey the law or face the consequences – the choice is yours!
