Once ‘Loud’ Cheering, Now California Wants to Sue Trump

Once applauded, now slapped. Could it be that Trump voters are finally waking up from their long slumber?

Once cheered ‘Make America Great Again’, today California, the most economically influential state — emerged as the first state to sue former President Donald Trump over tariff actions that are allegedly excessive and harmful to its own people.

Speaking from an almond farm in the Central Valley, Governor Gavin Newsom warned that the tariffs imposed by Trump are not just a political issue but also threaten real jobs and family incomes in California.

About 43% of the state’s almond, pistachio and dairy production depends on exports.

Now, everything is at risk.

The lawsuit filed targets Trump’s alleged misuse of the International Economic Emergencies Powers Act to impose tariffs at will without Congressional approval.

Attorney General Rob Bonta accused the Trump administration of creating a “false emergency” to push a personal agenda.

But as usual, the White House’s decisions are never wrong!

Spokesperson Kush Desai accused Newsom of “ignoring California’s real problems” in order to thwart Trump’s mission to save the economy.

This is California’s 14th lawsuit against the Trump administration and according to Newsom, this time they are confident of winning.

But the big question now arises, can Trump’s opponent win, or could California become the first state to be openly slapped with retaliatory tariffs by Trump himself?
