US President Donald Trump said they are taking in nearly $2 billion a day in tariffs and he thinks they are being implemented very well.
He added that Japan, South Korea and other countries are flocking to the US to negotiate tariffs.
White House spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt said nearly 70 countries have contacted Trump to begin negotiations on tariffs following his announcement last week that he would impose a minimum tariff of 10%.
He added that he has instructed them to work out trade deals tailored to each country.
He also said that reports of consideration of a delay in some tariffs were not true and would take effect immediately.
