On Wednesday, Wall Street stock trading jumped higher to recover after a big drop in global markets from last week.
All three major indexes rose dramatically after the announcement of the tariff delay by United States (US), Donald Trump.
The S&P 500 index rose 9.5% to 5,456.90 while the Dow Jones jumped 7.9% to 40,608.45.
Meanwhile, the Nasdaq index, which measures technology-based companies, rose 12.2% to 17,124.97.
The increase in the major indexes was driven by the announcement of a 90-day tariff delay by Trump as most countries have contacted the US to hold negotiations on the tariff issue.
This development gave investors a sigh of relief, encouraging them to remain confident in giant companies despite the uncertainty caused by global tariffs.
However, Trump also imposed the latest additional tariffs on China amounting to 125%, due to the opposition of the country which also announced additional tariffs on America.
